Job Description for a Live in Housekeeper / Nanny in Haslemere and London Position : Permanent Job Reference : DB448 Job Title :Housekeeper / Nanny Location :Haslemere, Surrey and some weekends in London Number of Children: 5 children (nannies employed) Pets: 1 Labrador puppy and chickens Salary : £35,000 gross per annum (negotiable) Holiday : Statutory holiday Start Date : ASAP Hours Required : 40 hours per week to include, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 7pm. Driver : Driver required Accommodation: Separate Annex with bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom Summary : This is a great role for an experienced Housekeeper / Nanny, who is happy to work alone in the Country house when the family are in London, but equally, happy to work within the family when you are all together. The family generally visit Haslemere at weekends and school holidays and the tempo will switch to more child focussed. The Haslemere Housekeeper / Nanny will also be expected to work in the London home, to cover. This will be generally every 4 to 6 weeks and probably no longer than a week at a time. The Country house has 8 bedrooms and is set in 10 acres. The family is young, vibrant and run an informal, child centred home. The family are looking for a vibrant candidate who can switch between roles. You will not be fazed by running the large country home and you will have the ability and experience to see what needs to be done. You will need to be someone who can switch between tasks and be as happy playing with the children as you are making lunch or making the beds. There are other staff employed including nannies and housekeepers. You will need to be very honest and trustworthy and happy to work in the Country house when the family are not there and also to travel to London, when needed (There is accommodation and parking in London). Duties will include Preparing the house for the family's arrival Cleaning to a high standard Laundry Ironing Cooking Running errands such as grocery shopping Dealing with trades people for logs, coal, pool maintenance etc. Feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs Caring for the children HomeOrganisers Ltd acting as an Employment Agency for this permanent position.
