Overview
Morgan Hunt are recruiting for a Caretaker on a permanent basis to work for a college based in Aldershot. To ensure that the College is locked and the alarms set and functioning properly at the end of each working day. To carry out basic Security services including patrols, incident reports, lanyard ID checks. To act as cover for the catering team within the College refectory during their break times. To ensure the College is being kept clean on a daily basis in accordance with a fixed specification. The areas include classrooms, offices, kitchens, eating areas, grounds, workshops and corridors. To carry out as either an individual or as a member of a team, deep cleans during holiday periods. This may include the cleaning of overheads, steelwork, light fittings, cleaning carpets and other floor surfaces, chairs/fabric finishes, walls and furnishings, using machinery and other cleaning equipment as necessary. To clean the external areas of the College. This may include litter picking, leaf clearing and window cleaning. To carry out first line maintenance, ie, minor repairs such as door closers/hinges, unblocking drains, minor repairs to the fabric, fixtures and fittings of the building, minor decorations etc. Minor repairs to also include routine light bulb replacements and other general maintenance duties.
