Junior Data Scientist - Birmingham - up to £40,000 The Role There is an opportunity for a Junior Data Scientist to join a growing start up's product team and help develop their new platform. It is a great opportunity to work alongside professionals with a wealth of technical experience and knowledge that you will learn from. You'll be working closely with the CEO and the CTO but will also be exposed to multiple areas of the business, giving you an excellent start to your career and opportunities to learn and progress quickly. You will be responsible for managing the data feeds into their custom made platform which are pivotal to its proper functioning. You'll be ensuring that the data is appropriately cleansed, normalised and processed so it can be ingested into the platform. Additionally, you will be writing machine learning algorithms to identify any potential risks or issues and create risk alerts. Responsibilities Data cleansing and normalisation Maintain data pipelines Create and implement Machine Learning algorithms that will pick up anomalies in the datasets Use data science methods to predict and create risk alerts Requirements Python SQL Experience with machine learning Data processing & cleansing experience The Company A unique opportunity has just become available with a London based start-up that are working to create a state-of-the-art platform powered by data and machine learning for businesses across the globe.
