Purchase Ledger Clerk Job in Poole Dovetail Recruitment are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to work for a well-established Poole based company. The main focus of this Purchase Ledger Clerk role is to process the purchase ledger and be fully accountable for ensuring a high level of accuracy and managing the company's expenditure. Duties and Responsibilities: Organising, registering, matching and posting purchase ledger invoices in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy Ensuring expenditure is correctly allocated Corresponding with internal departments and external suppliers Responding to supplier queries Processing weekly and monthly payment runs for review by the Finance Supervisor Reconciling supplier statements to check for omissions/discrepancies Experience and Knowledge: Have a background working in purchase ledger Be confident communicating on the phone Enjoy a hands-on, busy working environment Highly accurate and excellent attention to detail Salary and Benefits: £24,000 per annum Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 5.00 pm Free parking 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays Career development This Purchase Ledger Clerk job would suit candidates who has experience handling high volumes of invoices and been responsible for invoice queries, statements and payment runs.
