Overview

Employer Services HR Consultant We are searching for an experienced Employer Services HR Consultant Job purpose To deliver excellent, proactive and commercial HR services and consultancy to RSMs client base. Key responsibilities • Deliver excellent HR advice and guidance work to all RSM clients • Support other consultants to deliver other ad hoc work and projects on a continuing basis and as required • Be aware of potential opportunities for HR consultancy and work with the client focussed team to assist and support with the development of this work • Advise and work with internal stakeholders to consistently deliver work of an excellent quality • Contribute to internal projects and work with team members to deliver added value • Develop thought leadership, sharing information and insight proactively • Live our values whilst ensuring we deliver excellence in everything we do • Strive to develop skills, aiming for continuous personal development Accountabilities and performance measures: • Meet agreed utilisation targets • Meet agreed expectations for engagement recovery rates • Meet client service deliverables as defined in the relevant LOE • Ensure all RSM standard processes, reporting tools and administration requirements are completed in a timely fashion Person specification Job context / key challenges: • Maintain strong and sustainable relationships with clients and colleagues • Balance priorities to ensure that each client (regardless of size) believes they are a number one priority for RSM, whilst creating a seamless and integrated experience • Manage time effectively, ensuring good utilisation is achieved and working across all designated (recurring) and ad hoc client opportunities that present themselves • Utilise all available resources to ensure that all services are delivered to the highest standards Attributes / behaviours: • Positive - Solutions focused. Leverages commercial acumen Knowledge and experience Essential • Aware of and able to demonstrate current HR best practice • Practical and thorough understanding of UK Employment Law • Consistently demonstrates excellent standards in client delivery • Excellent at communicating and building relationships with clients and colleagues • Ability to work in a busy, client facing environment Desirable • Understanding and knowledge of using HR Database software. • Knowledge of interpreting data and producing meaningful reports. • Excellent organisational skills Qualifications & Experience Essential • Educated to degree level or equivalent • 3-5 years post graduate HR experience • Excellent IT skills: competency in using MS Office products Desirable • CIPD Qualified • Professional qualifications or evidence of continual professional development • Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management • Previous experience of delivering complex HR projects • HR experience in a client facing capacity or multi-site environment • Advanced IT skills in particular Excel and Powerpoint useful.
