Advanced Clinical/Nurse Practitioner

We are recruiting for an experienced Advanced Clinical/Nurse Practitioner to work full time or part time in an Urgent Care Centre in Derby . The Urgent Care Centre is located near central Derby and has great public transport links and access to all local amenities. As an ACP/ANP you will use your specialist knowledge and skills to provide healthcare, independently, to patients attending the service with undifferentiated and undiagnosed needs. You will act as a role model, delivering advanced practice and promoting clinical effectiveness in care. You will work closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team and will play an integral role in the operational/strategic development of the service. You will also have the opportunity to promote and facilitate evidence based practice and clinical audit and research within the service. You will ideally have experience within a primary care setting and your high standards of patient care will naturally inspire those you work with. Job Requirements: Professional NMC Registration Extended/independent prescribing qualification Accredited A&E or minor illness qualification Evidence of continuous personal development Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Practitioner qualification/ first contact practitioner (or willing to work towards) Minimum of 3 years experience in primary care setting Experience in working as an autonomous practitioner. Clinical examination skills.
