Job Title: Applications Equipment Manager Location: Field Based/Home Based Salary : £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE) Contract Type: Permanent Sector: Manufacturing/Processing/Engineering Job Role We are currently recruiting an experienced Applications Equipment Manager to join their team to enhance future success in growing the Applications Technology portfolio. As the leader of the Applications Equipment Team, you will be responsible for guiding a lean and focussed team to develop and/or introduce global applications equipment solutions to the UK and Ireland. As the Applications Equipment Manager, your duties will be: Manage the lean team of Applications Engineers. Develop and maintain processes and standards. Work closely with the Sales Engineers ensuring that any customer correspondence regarding the equipment installation is communicated. Provide swift resolution of issues/reactive maintenance activities. Ensure installation requirements are met and the customer is compliant. Support your team in managing projects through to completion including commissioning activities, ensuring documentation is completed and assets are recorded in the SAP EAM system. Undertake pre-commissioning acceptance or Factory/Site testing of individual systems and hardware. Ensure all "as built" documentation is issued and handed over to the customer as part of the handover manual. Keep up to date on technology advancement, and evaluate and recommend new technology. The ideal Applications Equipment Manager will hold the following skills and experiences: Must have a HND/Degree in a suitable Engineering discipline. Must have Engineering experience in a related Process Applications Technology. Excellent IT skills, familiarity with Windows OS, PC Configuration, SAP and Networking. Project Management experience. Electrical and/or Mechanical knowledge with a good understanding of process equipment functionality. Technical skills/experience with cryogenic equipment or refrigeration systems would be advantageous. Excellent customer focussed attitude. Additional Information Due to the nature of the role, you will need a full UK driving licence as moderate travel across the UK and Ireland is required with an average of 2 overnight stops per week. This role has flexibility to work from home, however, you would be visiting other Hubs in Brinsworth, Wolverhampton, Worsley and Guildford.
