Overview
Pertemps North East are looking for HGV Class 1 and 2 Tramper drivers to join our expanding workforce on various different runs across the country. Our clients are all large and well established with great reputations. The successful candidate will be required to: Stay overnight in the vehicle Monday to Friday with flexibility over weekends Deliver freight and a range of goods to a range of businesses on general haulage The type of vehicles can involve curtain siders, containers and also on occasion refrigerated vehicles You will need: A thorough understanding of drivers' hours Excellent customer service skills Flexibility A full licence with no more than 6 points CPC Digital tachograph card At least 6 months experience. The basic pay rate for our jobs before overtime is between £10.50-£11.50 an hour depending on the client you will be out on assignment with. There is also night out payments and weekly holiday accrual. For PAYE candidates you will also be auto enrolled into our NEST pension scheme.
