Overview
Compass Resourcing are recruiting for our Huddersfield based client, a sub-contract Precision Engineers, who have an immediate requirement for a skilled CNC Miller. The business are now well established and continue to thrive with an ever increasing order book. They are forward thinking and modern in approach, and boast a long list of blue chip clients they manufacture components for across a range of industry sectors. The role will be to run a CNC Milling Machine, on Heidenahin controls, and a fully skilled engineer is required. Ideally apprentice trained, and/or time served, with the ability to take a drawing, programme, set and operate the machine to produce precision components. Much of the work is done for the energy sector. This is an excellent opportunity within a smaller, but thriving machine shop where you’ll be offered a competitive rate of pay, ongoing work of an interesting nature, with overtime available. The role is on daytime hours, no shift work. This is a permanent role, no agency contract to start asap. All Health & Safety risks will be covered in induction.
