Overview

Our client, a global manufacturer, is looking to recruit a Store Keeper to take responsibility for complete warehouse management and ensure accurate inventory control, both physically and on SAGE, from goods receipt to finished goods despatch. SAGE EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE Role and Responsibility for the position of Store Keeper: Responsibility for packing products to meet customer orders, collating shipping documents, spare parts and product documentation prior to shipment. Coordinating transport with production office. Ensuring company’s Health & Safety requirements are met, making sure the warehouse is a safe environment for all Receiving and inspecting goods for damages and faults Checking deliveries against goods delivered note Accurate control of stock movement. Resolving stock queries against supplier discrepancies Locating goods and ensuring they are in relevant assigned areas Booking goods in and issuing into Sage Carry out warehouse picking schedule Monitoring stock levels to ensure stock availability without excessive inventory levels Review reorder levels on a regular basis Ensure accurate bin locations recorded on Sage Investigate, resolve, report and control stock variances Proactive in reviewing and improving stock control procedures Take a lead role in continuous inventory and year end counts Packing of finished product and spares orders for despatch when required Use of lifting equipment, including overhead crane and fork lift truck in line with regulation and training When required, make deliveries and collection of parts etc. in a company vehicle and ensuring the company van is kept clean Qualifications needed for the role of Store Keeper Previous experience in a similar role Prior experience with SAGE Manufacturing/Sage 200 processes Computer skills including email and Excel Experience of all warehouse duties, preferably using Sage 200 software Must have driving and forklift license Physically strong, agile and dexterous Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision and the ability to prioritise duties in a fast-moving environment Well organised, enthusiastic, flexible and have a can-do attitude Hours of Work: 8:00am - 4:45pm Excellent benefits package
