Job Specification Stores Operative Job Type- Permanent Industry Sector- Agriculture Location- Ely, Cambridgeshire Salary- Based on experience Hours- 08.00-17-00 Mon-Fri and 08.00-12.00 Alternate Saturdays Duties to include: · Stock Control · Placing orders with suppliers · Inspection of goods upon receipt and pre-shipping to ensure high standards of product are maintained · Picking of orders · Labelling of stock correctly in accordance with locations · Goods in, handling delivery paperwork and unloading · Goods out, liasing with couriers and delivery drivers and assisting to load vehicles · Data entry using stock systems and reporting of discrepancies · General stores maintenance including sweeping and reporting of any health and safety concerns Ideal Candidate: · Self-starter with a desire to get the job done · Be organised and methodical in their work · Possess a good knowledge of agricultural products and their purpose · Good communication skills · Have experience of stock control systems A counterbalance licence would be advantageous but not essential
