My client, a leading global freight forwarder, is looking to recruit an Import Clerk to join their dynamic, friendly and sociable team, based in Salford, Manchester You will be working for a company that values its people and offers genuine opportunities for career progression. Location: Manchester Salary: Up to £31k plus bonus Industry: Freight Forwarding/ Ocean Freight/ Airfreight/Shipping We are looking for an Import Clerk to manage shipments from start to finish, including completing Customs Entries. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Previous experience within the freight forwarding sector essential Experience of ocean freight and airfreight imports from start to finish Completing Customs Entries Providing quotations and following up on quotes Preparing all relevant documentation First class customer service skills Excellent communicator Excellent relationship building skills Stable employment history
