Overview

Gi Group in partnership with Royal Mail are looking for 17 tonne drivers for a contract period of 3 months. LGV Cat C/17 tonne drivers are required for trunk duties between Royal Mail sites, together with external customer collections and deliveries. This is a key role in the Royal Mail network. You must be a reliable, effective ambassador for Royal Mail in the loading and unloading of vehicles. You will be working to tight schedules, with measured and monitored running times whilst maintaining high safety standards throughout. Drivers must have; Current CPC and Digital Tachograph cards. UK licence. No more than 5 points or less. Not hold any current IN, DD, CD or DR endorsements. Have completed 90 days 7.5 tonne or other HGV driving experience within the last 2 years Held 17 tonne or other HGV licence for at least 2 years Pay rates for drivers are between £9.50 - £14.50 per hour.
