Overview

We have been retained by our client to source a proactive I.T. Project Coordinator to join and strengthen their current Distribution Centre. This organisation is one of the leading distributors of their product, in the UK. An SME organisation who supplies bespoke items to thousands of customers they are now embarking on an expansion plan as a result of external investment. Work with the IT Manager, external systems providers and the Operations Manager to develop existing IT systems and processes to gain efficiency across the department. This will include: · Defining and scoping multiple I.T. projects in line with the demands and goals of the business · Work cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders · Act as main interface with the ERP Developer · Identify, define and propose I.T. developments to enhance process improvements · Develop Power BI reporting · Monitor internal and external deliverables · Generate new I.T. projects in line with business growth and advancements in technology Currently in an I.T. role within a distribution or manufacturing organisation, you will have experience of MRP/ERP and/or WMS systems. Ideally you will have project management experience and will have gained exposure to work cross functionally with internal stakeholders and external developers. Experience of enhancing technology within an industrial environment would be ideal as would Power BI reporting. You will be able to manage priorities in a busy environment and will be able to remain structured and organised under pressure.
