Overview
SMT Operator - £18,000 to £24,000 depending upon experience My client is an Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS \ CEM) provider based between Royston and Cambridge, and is looking to recruit an experienced, reliable and skilled surface mount pick and place machine programmer \ operator (Mycronic) to join our highly skilled assembly team. You’ll need to be capable of handling all aspects of running an SMT line, have a can-do, positive outlook, and be someone who cares about their work. Key skills required for this position:- ability and solid experience of programming and running MY100DX-14 or similar ability to load and program Mycronic Agilis and old style feeders ability to operate DEK Stencil with vast experience of solder pasting various board types conscientious, hardworking and polite with desire to learn new skills and to support other members of the team when required sound knowledge of SMT component types, package sizes and IPC quality standards ability to work from assembly drawings and build packs and to complete production documentation comfortable following standard procedures A machine test will form part of the interview process.
