Small works Contracts manager role with a national main contractor in Aberdeen Small Works Contracts Manager role with a national main contractor in Aberdeen £50,000 - £55,000 Great Benefits Your new company This nationally recognised main contractor has operated in Aberdeen since 1989, covering an area that encompasses Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen city and southwards towards Angus. Their work includes the construction and redevelopments of existing builds within sectors such as schools, hospitals, retail centres and hotels. Due to upcoming projects, a Contracts manager is needed for the division. Your new role As a Small works Contracts manager within the organisation your job with entail managing multiple projects simultaneously and support the project managers overseeing the project. Your job will involve significant liaison with internal management providing necessary input and monitor and ensure teams adhere to the project programme. Coordinate and arrange resourcing including, staff, labour and subcontractors. Liaise with statutory authorities and ensure adequate and effective information flow between all stakeholders What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this job you will have a strong background in overseeing high end commercial build. You will possess strong leadership skills as this will be essential in driving performance on the project. This position would be suited to a senior site manager looking to progress their career. You will be certified in SMSTS via CITB and possess a valid CSCS card and be first aid.
