Multi-Skilled Engineer - Central Manchester - Permanent Position Your new company Are an established FM provider who run, maintain & manage a stylish city centre commercial property, in the heart of Manchester. You'll be working as part of an already established team, who not only have responsibility for this facility but several other commercial buildings both locally and regionally, as your role develops and responsibility increases. There is plenty of scope for career development as the internal HR and training provided by your new employer is 2nd to non. Your new role You will be responsible for the day running of all mechanical and electrical maintenance throughout the facility. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Working alongside contractors. Operation and maintenance of Heating & Boiler systems HVAC Maintenance (PPM & Reactive) Electrical Testing & PAT Testing Carrying out & completion of risk assessments. Supervising all planned and preventative maintenance. Managing a team of 2 others junior engineers 1 of which is already in place. What you'll need to succeed Experience in a similar field is essential ideally with a with a high prole / blue chip organisation, where you can demonstrates valid mechanical and electrical engineering experience. Relevant electrical, mechanical, Heating or HVAC qualifications are essential. The role also requires the potential candidate to be able to proactively supervise other members of the team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manor.
