Your new company Our expert construction and property team are seeking to take on high quality carpenters for a large south-west based construction company who are currently working on a commercial development in the centre of bath. Our client who we are proud to represent operate on multiple project from commercial to residential sites. Your new role For this role you will need to be a qualified and expert carpenter who can do all-round work but for this job you will be primarily focusing on 2nd fix and joinery work. You will be working closely with the foreman for daily tasks sets and ensuring that you are meeting site deadlines in order to deliver the project on time. All candidates must have To qualify for this role, you will need to hold a CSCS card with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the UK with applicable references. You will need to be able to complete hardwood joinery as well as 1st and 2nd fix installation with speed and precision. Furthermore, candidates will have to provide their own tools (minimum requirement is full hand kit and cordless) and you will also need to have full personal protect equipment (hard hat, boots, hi-vis, gloves and goggles). What you will need to succeed To be successful for this position you must be highly experienced and qualified carpenter who is consistent, reliable and punctual with a strong working ethic. As you will be working for a large company you will need to have strong communication and team work skills, nevertheless you must also have the capacity to work alone by yourself on your own initiative.
