Overview
Net Developer - C# and/or VB.Net Based Warrington £22-£30,000 This International IT Logistics organisation is currently looking to recruit an experienced .Net Developer to assist with the ongoing development, improvement and support of bespoke front end systems which are being adopted globally. All new development is carried out in C# with legacy applications in VB.Net. In a team environment your role will involve development of new applications, re-development and enhancement of legacy systems in C#, plus maintaining VB.Net and SQL Server applications prior to re-development. This will involve gathering functional requirements from users, developing bespoke applications or modules and processing enhancements before testing and implementing solutions. SKILLS • .Net commercial Development experience (C# or VB.Net) over full life cycle • MS SQL Server (ideally TSQL, SSRS,) • Winforms • First class communication & team working skills • Microsoft certification would be beneficial. This is a great opportunity to join a successful global organisation. Our client will consider C# or VB.Net developers and will provide any necessary cross training. Based Warrington with occasional travel although the role may also be based in Wokingham or Cirencester. Our client could potentially pay a higher salary dependent on experience and would also consider Computer Science graduates possessing C# experience.
