Overview
Summary of Role The Investments business has committed to developing a scalable and efficient technology platform to support the growth of its Delegated/Fiduciary business and this is a key strategic initiative for the Investments business. We are looking for an experienced Data Delivery Manager to assist the Project Data Lead to deliver the data and data management support model needed for the successful implementation and roll-out of the technology platform. As a Data Delivery Manager, you will have responsibility for driving and executing the plan for data acquisition, developing process to ensure the quality and accuracy of data, and working with business data owners for review and sign-off. You will also support the development and delivery of the data management support model needed for the management of data required for the business future state. The Role Key tasks for the role include: Project management, delivery management and stakeholder management Coordinating data activities across multiple teams and locations to ensure delivery to project timeline Build strong relationships with business teams to develop understanding of business problems and data requirements to enable definition of appropriate solution to meet project objectives Define, track, and analyse the business requirements for data management and the support model required to support them Help the business to plan and prepare for data migration activities Additional responsibilities will include the support of data requirements clarification, design, and implementation of the follow-on phases of the project, and managing changes to base-lined requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools. You may also be asked to provide coaching, mentoring, and development support to build capabilities across the future state Data Management team, establishing and embedding best practices. The Requirements Strong data background with sufficient experience working within the investment services or asset management environment as a delivery / project / change manager A deep understanding and hands-on with at least one of the following: Data Strategy, Data Quality, Data Governance Hands-on experience of designing and executing plan for data gathering and data analysis Good knowledge of data and the data flows in an investment or asset management environment Technical knowledge including data architecture, SQL, RDBMS, Oracle, MS SQL server database and ETL knowledge Good knowledge of business analysis techniques Proven ability to provide accurate estimation of requirements engineering effort needed. Experience in leading various business readiness activities, such as documenting procedural guides and delivering training to the business Goal-oriented, proactive, and excellent project management skills (Waterfall and Agile) Proven ability to build collaborative relationships, facilitating, challenging, and bring ideas together to solve problems Effective time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills that ensure deadlines are met Track record of delivering complex end-to-end data projects Ability to work with global teams and with all levels in the organization Experience of managing change, building, and developing diverse teams Desirable Industry recognised project management accreditation Previous experience of working with and/or implementing investment management systems, or client relationship management systems Previous programming experience in any of VB, C++, C# Knowledge of various Microsoft products, for example, Power BI, Power Apps, MS Flow, MS Dynamics Equal Opportunity Employer
