Are you looking for an optical design role in Aylesbury? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Optical Design Engineer - Zemax to join a market leader in the design and manufacture of LED optical products based in Aylesbury. This is a great chance for an Optical Design Engineer - Zemax to become immersed in a very fast paced industry developing injection moulded optics for the global LED optics illumination market. You will be working as part of a dedicated team carrying out optical design of a wide range of novel optical systems. Key responsibilities of the Optical Design Engineer - Zemax job: Take customers detailed design requirements from specification through to production Work with Engineering team to develop new design concepts Use optical simulation software to determine critical geometry characteristics of new designs and enhance these accordingly Carry out tolerance analysis and generate detailed 3D part geometries to aid optical simulation Present design projects to engineering teams or customers during design reviews, carry out presentations and internal training when required Key skills and experience required for the Optical Design Engineer - Zemax job: A strong background in optical engineering with solid design experience Experience of using optical design software - Zemax, LightTools etc. This is an exciting opportunity for an Optical Design Engineer - Zemax to join a well-established company who can offer career progression and personal development.
