The Role We are looking for a Location Manager to oversee our operations in Avonmouth, an individual with an established track record in fleet maintenance/workshop management and vehicle rental with a multi-million pound P&L who has a background in successfully leading a team of technicians and supervisors to operationally deliver the annual business plan. We will want this person to have a great deal of technical knowledge as well as outstanding operational leadership. As you will be responsible for successfully managing workshop and rental operations that service a fleet in excess of 500 from our Avonmouth site. You will need to be able to deliver on each year’s business plan through recruiting, developing and leading a team in a high performing commercial vehicle workshop and vehicle rental business. You will be equally adept at managing through the analysis of data and metrics and also getting into the detail in the workshops to make sure quality at the right cost is present in your site. You will understand the rental market in Avonmouth in order to maintain the excellent service offered to your customers whilst maintaining profit margins. About You Key to the success of this role will be the ability to use your excellent technical knowledge from the automotive industry, ideally within Commercial Vehicles, which will allow you to challenge your technicians and supervisors to ensure works carried out to the fleet are relevant, timely and realistic and your rental teams are operating a customer centric and profitable business. The successful Location Manager will evidence the following: An in depth knowledge of the commercial vehicle/ HGV maintenance from a management position Excellent mechanical knowledge, ideally evidenced with formal qualifications Proven outstanding operational delivery evidenced by over achievement against target metrics Delivers class leading health & safety for everyone on site Multi million pound P&L management experience Inspirational manager with a track record in getting the very best out of their teams Minimum 3 years management experience Passion for delivering the best customer service Proven stakeholder management skills at all levels Salary & Benefits You can expect a salary up to £50,000 dependent on experience along with an excellent corporate benefits package that includes a company car or allowance, generous 15% bonus package, leading pension scheme, private healthcare for you and your family plus other corporate benefits as per below.
