Overview
Proactive Personnel Limited are looking for 3 enthusiastic HGV Mechanics/Fitters/Technician to maintain a large fleet of commercial HGV’s at a long-standing family-run company in Stoke-on-Trent. This position will satisfy knowledgeable and professional individuals who are good at working within a team with clean working conditions. The Job Role: Complying to maintenance structure, compliance and safety to DVSA standards. Pre MOT preparation and defect rectification. Diagnosing faults and rectification. Routine safety inspections. Complete accident damage repairs. Emergency repairs/breakdown repairs. Fabrication - refurbishment of trailers. Manage own working area. Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and you may be required to work overtime at busy periods. Experience/Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Commercial Vehicle Repairs. CE licence preferred, but not essential. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with HGV’s. Adhere to company rules and regulations. Have a good Health and Safety understanding. Completion of paperwork/job cards to the expected standard. Ensuring cleanliness of work space and workshop. Occasional repairs to Light Commercial vehicles.
