Job description: DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB We are looking for a Splunk specialist to join our growing UK team. You will report to our Head of Data Transport & API Management and can be based from our Stevenage, Portsmouth or Newport sites. You will manage the current service and the further evolution of our Splunk instance in the UK, while also influencing the evolution of our international instance. You will work in a diverse international team and will use a mix of classicial and agile project methodologies. You will ensure proper service levels towards our external customers, keeping in regular contact and acting as primary point of contact for all Splunk related topics. You will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role. TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES Development of Splunk Architecture Ensure proper service levels of existing service Further evolution of Splunk infrastructure Point of contact for customers Coordination of further onboardings of additional systems and environments Continuous evolution towards industry standard and beyond Controlling of third parties You will need to travel within the UK every 2 - 3 weeks and within European a few times a year, mainly for team meetings.
