Electronics Engineer

With a huge team boasting of both field based engineers and more static technicians at the head office in Stoke, they have a well respected name in the market place for offering round the clock support to their customers, 7 days a week. Benefits include a salary of circa £35K depending on skills, however engineers can earn much more if they opt to work a shift pattern. Also on offer is overtime after 40hrs, 33 days holiday including bank hols, workplace pension, life assurance, sick pay scheme. Day shift hours are 8am - 4:30pm Mon to Fri, however we're are also keen to speak to candidates who may consider double day shifts, or even permanent nights if you have a preference. Double Day shifts and Nights would pay an additional premium of 30% on top of basic salary. Duties for the role include - - Electrical fault finding and diagnosing issues on a range of servo motors, drives, fans and pumps within equipment and machinery - 70% workshop based repairs, 30% site based work to include retrofitting - Provide aftercare support to customers - Testing and inspection work carried out, as well as corrective works - Interpret and read from electrical drawings and connectivity info - Occasional soldering through hole and / or surface mount PCB's We would love to hear from candidates that have had experience in the following - - Electrical Assembly / Machine Fitter/ Electrical Technician - City & Guilds Level 3 in Electronics equivalent - Strong knowledge of motors, drives, testing and inspection - Be able to follow technical diagrams and schematics - Flexibility towards either workshop or occasional site based work If you're flexible to support the call out rota, the business pay £90 per call out responded to, plus overtime at £25 per hour spent on the call out.
