Knowledge Manager (Contract) • DV Cleared • ITSM, ITIL, SKMS, TEMs, SMRs • IT Infrastructure & Software Service Expansion Project • 12-month initial sign up • Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire • £550 - £650 per day (DOE) We are working with a major name in Defence Intelligence Systems who are expanding and upgrading their service offering. As a result, they are looking for an experienced Knowledge Manager to join them and take responsibility for the embedding of critical knowledge and the flow of information into, within, and out of this service. You will be working closely with the Head of Service Transition to: Manage the IT Service Management (ITSM) Document Library which consists of a consolidated set of ITSM artifacts such as strategies, plans, processes, Terms of Reference and reports. Review and update all ITSM documentation Take responsibility for the Service Knowledge Management System (SKMS) Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions such as Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) for resolver groups to discuss ITSM related issues on an as needed basis. Create and maintain KM documentation and procedures, such as the Knowledge Management Policy Statement and the Knowledge Management Plan. Enhance the service offering by influencing the production of articles and documentation, ultimately to improve first-time fix Please note we are only able to consider candidates holding current DV clearance for this contract. Role skills and requirements Strong experience within IT Service Operations Strong knowledge and understanding of ITIL functions, principles and processes and capable of carrying out best practices against that. Strong communication skills and proven experience operating across a large defence or security business Experienced in getting a clear and up-to-date understanding of the business situation and processes and good working knowledge of the organisational strategy Desirable ITIL Expert Certified Knowledge of GIS, Image processing and supporting infrastructure Experience with DevOps This role is urgent, with interviews and offers being carried out remotely.
