IT Support Engineer (Mainly 2nd line plus some 1st line) / Desktop Support Analyst / 1st/2nd Line Support Analyst / 1st & 2nd Line Support / IT Support Analyst / IT Support Technician - 6 months contract starting ASAP and very likely to extend or renew for another 6 months (Inside IR35) Central London At the moment it's 100% working from home. Our client is a world leading mobile application technology provider based in central London (Monday to Friday business hours only): -Over 4000 employees across Europe, US, Asia and Middle East; -Growing rapidly with revenue of $1 billion; -One of the most popular mobile apps on the market with over 180M users They are looking for an IT support engineer (mainly 2nd line) to join their central London team to support their European head offices end users, manage vendor relationship, ensure IT services delivery and participate in new IT solutions roll out projects: - Providing mainly 2nd line technical support for end users and troubleshooting for Windows/PCs (30%) Mac/Mac OS/OSX server (70%), mobile phone/iphone/Android, Active Directory, PCs and Mac, network, cloud storage, Atlassian tools/Jira/Confluence, Google Apps/G suite, video conference, etc.; - Logging tickets, analysing issues and following up with customers, escalate technical issues, helping resolving problems and finding root cause within SLA; - Working with the helpdesk team in the US and building good relationships with 3rd party vendors; - Working on infrastructure project work such as introducing new technology, rolling out software/hardware, wireless setting up Requirements: 2nd Line Support Engineer / Desktop Support Analyst / IT Support Engineer -At least 3 years' experience working as desktop support engineer/1st and 2nd line support/1st/2nd line support/2nd line support; -Must have strong working knowledge in Mac OS / Mac OS X; -Working experience in Google Apps or G-suite and ideally Google hangouts is a plus; -Must have strong experience in supporting video conference The position starts with 6 months daily rate contract and is very likely to renew or extend. Our client is offering £200 to £240 per day depending on experience.
