Overview
WE are looking for a Trading Standards professional to join our north west England local authority client on a temporary basis The ares that they need particular assistance in are: NTS funded Safety at Ports work at the airport. This would necessitate getting an airport pass (which involves a specific DBS check and security training). This work involves visiting the airport to check whether goods being imported are compliant with safety legislation Calibration work in our in-house laboratory Reviewing licensing applications and submitting representations on behalf of the Trading Standards Service Carrying out inspections at pet shops, dog breeders etc to determine whether they can be given a licence Assisting on trade mark investigations/raids Dealing with complaints that are not likely to result in formal enforcement action However if you have any experience in Trading Standards please send your CV through to infokenyonblock.com
