Overview
Job Title: CNC Machinist Salary: £28,000-£30,000 Location: Andover Working Hours: 39 per week, 08.00 16.30 Monday to Thursday and 08.00 15.30 Friday. ARM are recruiting for our Precision Engineering client that specialise in variety of machining processes such as CNC, Tool Making, Assembly and much more within different industries. Role Responsibilities: The CNC Machinist will be responsible for: " Using Mazak, Doosan, Horizontal machines " Editing of CNC Programs for the effective machining of components. " Setting and operating of the machines to prove out first off and production. ''Working in a team to achieve agreed targets. " To manage work load in an effective manner. " Entering data onto Routing Sheets, operating tickets and bespoke software. " Return of drawings, fixtures and tooling to correct locations after use. " To fulfil all set tasks as per company objectives. " To ensure production is carried out against related documentation to ensure product conformity. " Any issues or concerns to be reported to immediate Manager, Quality or technical Engineer. " To work alongside management to meet set quality objectives and continuing improvements. Including reduction in scrap rates. Qualifications and skills: " Minimum of 3 years previous experience or Industry recognised " Certification in CNC machining.
