Overview
An administrative Assistant / Paraplanner role with a firm of Independent Financial Advisers based near Slough Your new company A small independent form of Financial Advisers. Your new role Successful candidate must have knowledge encompassing investment, pensions, protection, trusts and inheritance planning, understanding compliance and governance required by Financial Conduct Authority and be able to undertake duties involving: FCA - compliance Support Financial advisers Assess client enquires relating to their investment portfolio/pension plans, assess taxation implications in order for the request to be serviced by the IFA Prepare portfolio valuations Client facing, meet & greet, answer telephone Company Financials: Monthly: Reconcile bank statements to SAGE Produce income. Check receipt of commission/adviser fee statements to reported entries Report and Statements sent to to reconcile to Iress back office. Pass journal entries Ensure invoices and advisor expense receipts are held - verify to bank statement Ensure invoices are collated and where payment online is agreed pass to MD for settlement or issue cheque for his signature. Receive payslips - retain copy and distribute to staff Auto Enrolment - pay monthly contributions - check/update/submit PAYE - settle monthly tax and national insurance payment by due date Adhoc: P60s - receive and distribute P11d's Class/ NICS contributions - payment due monthly/annual Audited accounts - liaise with accountants Corporation Tax Sage - produce Trial Balance, Profit & Loss and Balance sheet reports.
