Multi Skilled Engineer

Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are working in partnership with a market leading food manufacturing business, recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer / Electrical Bias (FMCG)to join the Engineering team. Working Hours: 2 Days, 2 Nights and 4off. Day shift will be 6AM to 6PM and night shift will be 6PM to 6AM Reporting To: Engineering Manager Salary: £36, 000 annually Job Purpose: To efficiently cover PPM, breakdowns, fault finding, reactive maintenance and production cover. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: To efficiently cover breakdowns and production cover, submitting any improvements/cost savings to the Engineering Manager. To support/advise and provide training where necessary to Line Leaders in relation to machine set up and or technical issues. To actively participate in project work ensuring deadlines are met and quality of work is to a high standard. To always ensure you adhere to company procedures, policies and guidelines. To keep your work area in a good, clean condition and follow the 'clean as you go' procedure. To maintain accuracy in record keeping systems - both manual and computerised where applicable. To assist in implementing and maintaining a PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) system. To be aware of budgetary constraints with regards to carrying out maintenance and repairs. To actively participate in improving your department by implementing 5S and quick changeovers. To promote LEAN within your department. Skills & Experience Required: Qualified Time Served Engineer with Mechanical & Electrical skills (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, ONC Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, BTEC level 3 in Mechanical & Electrical/Electronic Engineering) Experienced in fast moving / fast paced environments (FMCG / Food Manufacturing / General Manufacturing) Experienced in working on; Baggers, Fillers, Ovens, Chillers, Wrappers, Conveyors, Sorters, Slicers etc. would be beneficial This role would suit: Maintenance Engineer, Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Fitter, Multi Skilled Engineer, Engineer, Service Engineer, Contract Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, MS Engineer or similar This role is commutable from: Lincoln, Gainsborough, Newark, Grantham, Sleaford, Woodhall Spa, Branston, Lincolnshire and surrounding areas.
