QA Automation Test Engineer – Bromsgrove - Award winning Microsoft Partner company - £45,000 My client who have doubled their software development team within the last 6 months are now looking for an automation test engineer (Selenium/ Cucumber/ Gherkin/ Cypress/ Protractor/ TestCafe) to join its talented IT development team. You will be part of a very dynamic, friendly and collaborative team as the company focus on test moving forward. The company have a very relaxed and sociable, but grown up, environment where someone is always at hand to answer any questions and offer support when needed. The opportunity You will essentially be the first automation tester (Selenium/ Cucumber/ Gherkin/ Cypress/ Protractor/ TestCafe) within the business, which means it’s a complete blank page so you must be able to hit the ground running and be confident in driving the business forward within automation. This move is an integral part of the business and strategy. You will be pitching automation tooling options and solutions for the business and how they change to automation so it will be up to you to decide which testing tool will be used. This really is an opportunity where you can own this project as your own, and as the company move forward, there are opportunities for you to become the lead of an automation test team – which is both challenging and exciting.
