A NEW and EXCITING opportunity has become available to join one of our clients who are industry leaders in their field, based in Thirsk. Our client is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their expanding team. This is a great opportunity for someone going through their AAT qualification or alternatively someone who has valuable experience in an accounts environment. Duties to include: Dealing with all aspects of company purchase ledger Efficient posting of invoices Working with Sage Line 50 and Excel Raising relevant purchase ledger payments Post cash to bank accounts and reconcile banks on a daily basis across a number of companies Paying, posting and reconciling expense claims Regularly communicating with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person. Providing additional support to Finance Manager Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc. Skills required: Exceptional time management To be enthusiastic and proactive To have excellent attention to detail Ideally some exposure in a similar type of role To have experience using Sage system would be an advantage.
