Overview
Nationally renowned construction and development company based in Harrogate/Knaresborough area are currently recruiting an ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified Assistant Management Accountant to gain mentorship and add support to the dynamic finance function. This business has a large presence in the industry on a national scale, and offers multiple pathways of progression, in various departments and locations. They are looking for a motivated and ambitious part qualified accountant, who is ready to work in a hands on and fast moving role, picking up new skills and experience on the way. As well as the massive benefit of full study support, this role would offer you the best training a soon-to-be-accountant could get, with a team of senior qualified accountants guiding you. In this role, you will be responsible for: Preparation of invoices, accounts payable/receivable, bills and other financial documents Aiding in the production and reporting of management accounts, and in time, being responsible for the full process of management account packages Assisting the finance department and senior accounts with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements. Coordinating and liaising between internal and external auditors Participating in yearend/month end analysis. Identifying efficiencies and improvements to processes in place, and putting them in practice. Production of profit and loss A variety of adhoc finance tasks This role is ideal if you are looking for a full and well-rounded foundation of accounts experience as well as experience working with an excellent team of accountants. Ideally you will be part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA and actively studying towards qualification.
