Overview
The Team The HR department is responsible for the provision of a full range of HR services to the Firm including recruitment and resourcing, talent management, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, staff welfare, compliance and maintenance of personnel records. The team is responsible for the hiring of staff into all UK offices (and on occasions Europe). As part of your role, you will join a team of 10 and you will spend the majority of time on boarding new joiners and supporting the Recruitment Managers who look after business services and fee earning hires (with the exception of partner hires) for the UK offices. This role will provide overflow support to graduate recruitment and also support on ad hoc projects, process improvement projects etc. Responsibilities Completing pre-employment checks for employees (for example, references and medicals). Responsibility for all administrative on boarding processes from offer stage to day of joining Producing a wide variety of contracts, including consultancy agreements. Adding new employees onto the firm database Responsibility for high levels of compliance including CRB checks and reference checking all new joiners to minimum standard. Use social media platforms to promote the firm and attract and source candidates for vacancies. Liaising with the marketing department on changes to the intranet and careers website. Working closely with IT, security, IT training and HR to ensure inductions are set up to run smoothly for new joiners. Assist in our apprentice and graduate recruitment process Interview scheduling and candidate correspondence relating to these Responsibility for maintaining the live job advertisements on our applicant tracking system. Producing quarterly performance related and cost saving reports including measuring ROI. Ensuring compliance with the firm's GDPR regulations when sharing CVs and handling sensitive data. Assisting and conducting HR inductions. Producing terms of business with external recruitment agencies and handling correspondence with these. Coordinating and managing assessments for candidates, including in-house assessments and online assessments and benchmarking results. Processing invoices. Key Skills & Experience Proven experience of working in an administrative role where attention to detail is essential. Experience of working independently, complying with processes and producing high quality work. Strong academics Committed to developing a career in recruitment/ HR Strong communication skills; both written and oral. Excellent proven project and time management skills.
