Accountancy Practice - Congleton - Accountant Your new Firm You will be working with a well established and highly regarded firm of accountants who are looking to appoint an experienced Accountant to their successful team. This general practice offer a range of services to their client base inclusive of accounting, tax, audit and payroll. Your new role As an Accountant at this firm you will be required to manage a portfolio of accounts made up of clients primarily from the agricultural sector. Your role will mainly comprise preparing and reviewing year end accounts and tax returns but may also involve some management accounts preparation as well. This role will not only see you get involved with the day to day accounting for your clients but will also enable you to develop your skills on the advisory side; partnering with the director to advise clients on future growth targets. What you'll need to succeed In order to undertake this role you must have worked within an accountancy practice previously. Ideally you will be coming up to completion of your ACCA/ ACA studies however those qualified by experience will also be considered. Knowledge of the agricultural sector would be preferred although this is not essential as is experience of reviewing junior team members work.
