2nd Line Engineer/ IT Support Analyst Location: East Sutton Salary: £24,000 £27,000 Per Annum Plus Benefits Comparison Technologies has an exciting opportunity for an IT Helpdesk Analyst to join our Infrastructure team based in Kent. Reporting into the Head of Infrastructure you will be primarily responsible for supporting our end users within a Helpdesk capacity for their 1st and 2nd Line IT support issues You will have the opportunity to gain further experience through additional training as well as getting involved in some major upcoming IT projects which may include gaining 3rd line experience. Requirements of the 2nd Line Engineer/ IT Support Analyst: You will be passionate about keeping abreast of IT technology and have experience working with 1st and 2nd line support issues. You will possess an excellent telephone and desk side manner, especially when discussing problems with middle to senior staff Experience of MS networking concepts, including but not limited to: TCP/IP, Ethernet, Telnet, FTP, Active Directory, Group Policy VPN, DHCP, SMTP, iSCSI, NAS, RDS Knowledge of HP and Lenovo computers and laptops. A solid understanding of Windows 10. A solid understanding or Microsoft Office products to 2016 version including O365 Experience of administering mailboxes and their permissions in Microsoft Exchange 2010/2016 Ability to document concisely for both technical and business audiences.
