A Terraform Engineer role is available with a leading Law Firm to assist with their cloud first strategy. An integral role that has a number of projects aligned with involvement through the full end to end delivery and optimising existing performances. Strong knowledge of Terraform and cloud platforms is essential. Function Overview The IT Department is responsible for providing technology and support to enable fee earners and business services employees to operate efficiently both internally and with their clients. The IT department is comprised of two functions, Customer Services and Technology Services. These two functions work closely together with the shared goal of delivering strategic business value through the application of technology. IT operates as a global team with regional presence in most of our offices. Our centralised IT infrastructure is maintained and managed by Technology Services and Customer Services provides all business facing support and services. Role Purpose To develop, maintain and enhance web platform capabilities to deliver solutions based upon client need, utilising best practices within an Cloud environment. Key Responsibilities and Deliverables Building secure solutions using Cloud environments Web app, API and function hosting. Participate in development sprints in a fast paced Agile release environment, as required. Maintain and extend reference architecture for cloud delivery Extensive hands-on design and implementation experience Mentor and coach colleagues and seek opportunities for continuous improvement. Develop orchestration workflows to deploy, configure and update cloud services and related components within the cloud infrastructure. Experience with Cloud infrastructure such as Account structures e.g. (subscription, tenant), Azure Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Domain Services, Service Principles, RBAC, IAM Set quality standards for tools, techniques and methodologies, advising on their application and ensuring compliance. Key Requirements Essential Experience with Terraform Strong experience with Cloud. Experience with Devops / CICD. Experience working with Container technology (Docker / Kubernetes / Openshift) Desirable Skills Web development (Preferably C# / Javascript) Puppet / Atlassian experience.
