Overview

My client is looking to expand its Semiconductor verification team at its UK HQ in Bristol. Using state of the art tools and techniques, you will work with the relevant design and concept engineers to make development bug free prior to Tape Out and focus on constant efficiency. Systems include Radar for Autonomous vehicles and Microprocessor design and systems With your knowledge of digital electronics you will join a multi-disciplinary team which includes hardware designers, verification engineers and software engineers Your work will make a difference and you’ll share ideas with and learn new skills from some of the best engineers in the world As an important member of our engineering team you'll predominantly be involved with employing constrained-random coverage-driven simulation techniques using SystemVerilog and UVM. You'll be responsible for: Development of all aspects of unit and/or top-level verification environments including tests/stimulus, checkers and functional coverage Investigation of test failures and debug of sometimes complex technical issues that can cross team boundaries Coverage analysis and stimulus improvement Writing and maintaining documentation Essential Attributes Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering or a similar related field and relevant experience in digital verification or design. You will need: Experience of RTL design/simulation using a language such as SystemVerilog or VHDL Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team Practical, organised and analytical approach to work Be detailed focus and relentless to find bugs Our client is a Tier 2 license holder and will take applications from outside the EU.
