Overview

Commercial Placement Broker - Marsh Commercial - Milton Keynes Role: We are looking for an experienced insurance commercial to support our team of internal brokers in processing new business for all products and markets within the Lloyds market. Responsibilities: To ensure that broker presentations are actioned and administered in a timely and efficient manner To ensure that quotations via the BPS Broking desk are delivered on time with all the relevant information To assist in interpreting BPS Broker needs and provide solutions Liaising with BPS Partners and insurers ensuring opportunities are maximised To ensure the correct recording of all Broking Desk placements To assist with the preparation of Management Information as required To comply with relevant regulatory requirements and the company’s procedures To assist in achieving annual revenue targets for the broking desk To maintain and develop knowledge in a wide range of commercial products, legal and market developments To maintain good working relationships with Network Brokers and Partner Insurers Provide advice, support and mentoring to other team members Identify own and other team members training needs Ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to Skills: Efficient administration skills and understanding of MS Office system Problem solving Self motivated and results orientated Excellent communication skills Good organisational skills to ensure that company processes and procedures are put in place Achieving results Communicating, influencing and relationship building Strong negotiation skills Forward planning Team Working Experience: Minimum five years experience within an insurance broking environment Understanding of a wide range of commercial insurance products Extensive knowledge of the UK insurance market About us We are Marsh Commercial, a diverse community of colleagues, serving a diverse community of clients with insurance, risk management and employee health and benefits advice and solutions.
