Our current stack is made up of distributed applications, primarily built on Ruby, Scala, RabbitMQ, Redis, MySQL/Aurora and JavaScript. Our industry leading API has processed over $50 billion of transactions for over 5 million end users. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? You'll work on scalable web applications and APIs Have solid experience using Scala or Ruby and keen on learning more about either. Work with (and know the limitations of using) a large SQL database Work alongside Infrastructure/DevOps with provisioning tools (e.g Terraform, AWS, Docker) TDD, BDD (RSpec, Cucumber) environment to ensure your code is well tested Be an Agile Advocate (bonus points for knowing what the Spotify Model is) Understand CI / CD pipelines Be proficient in Git/Github or any other source control software Work with multiple teams to ensure all systems work well together Collaborate with QA & Product Owners on product development NICE TO HAVE API-led platforms Elasticsearch Docker Kubernetes (or K8s if you prefer) Log Management systems APM systems like New Relic or Datadog 12 factor apps AWS SDK Building business tools Microservices Passionate about tech, play with new tools, go to events etc. TO BE CONSIDERED… Please either apply by clicking online or emailing me directly to .
