Junior Software Tester - Salary up to £24,000 - Annual Bonus, Annual Salary Review, Parking, Holidays, Performance Reviews, Pension, Eye care Scheme, Friendly Team, Flexibility The role This is a great opportunity for a bubbly and ambitious Junior Software Tester, to join a vibrant team assisting with the testing on a wide variety of innovative projects. You will work with specialists in their fields with over a decade of experience - and continue to learn from the best. Your responsibilities will include manual testing, carrying out manual tests on a regular basis to ensure that the highest quality level is achieved on all projects. You will be a diligent individual who pays great attention to detail, and you will be vigilant in detecting bugs and reporting bugs. Responsibilities: Produce testing documentation in line with the testing strategy Use a different combination of testing techniques in a manual style Test across windows desktop applications, web applications and mobile applications Asist with the testing of new features Following existing project and test plans You will have a knowledge of… Different testing methods Structured testing approaches Writing test scripts and analysing test results Producing good quality testing documentation Strong testing principles/concepts and techniques Communicating technical issues with multiple team members Testing of different platforms including Android and iOS Desirable skills: Waterfall/AGILE Working knowledge of a programming language: C#, JavaScript SQL Customer facing experience Exposure to different test strategies Strong knowledge of various manual test tools Working as part of an AGILE team The Company This is an exciting time to be joining the business; with ambitious growth plans for the next 5 years.
