Document Review Legal Assistant job in Bristol - Top tier firm - Permanent Your new company Our client is a truly prominent player in the legal sector, with offices around the UK. They currently have multiple opportunities for Document Review Legal Assistants to join their central Bristol office. Your new role You will undertake first level reviews of documents for key issues or terms to assist other teams in the firm, such as commercial or banking litigation. You will follow guidance on privacy laws in order to undertake a first level review for Data Subject Access Requests and will work closely with fee earners to provide regular updates on progress. You will also create bundles and document lists for mediations, trials and employment tribunals and contribute to training materials and the development of the team. What you'll need to succeed You will be a Law LLB or GDL graduate, ideally with previous paralegal or legal assistant experience. You will be a confident and able communicator who is well-organised and has excellent attention to detail. You will be hardworking and able to adapt in an ever-changing working environment. An interest in document review is advantageous as is the LPC qualification however these are not pre-requisites. Attitude and personality as well as good academics are key. Experience of Data Subject Access Requests and the disclosure process, including knowledge on privilege would be preferable.
