The alfanar Group, employing over 15,000 people, operate construction and manufacturing businesses, design & development centres and 7 sales and marketing operations across the world, Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role: Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and working closely with the Senior Buyer you will be responsible for all Procurement activity at Contactum, sourcing potential suppliers/vendors, PO's/quotations/inspection reports and managing supplier performance and relationships. Key responsibilities: Awareness of local market behaviour, price history etc. Collect benchmark quotations for the product/service to be procured. Manage sample requests for new materials/vendors. Manage price negotiations with target of cost down. Ensure products/services procured are to specification and are delivered in accordance to agreed terms. Identify and communicate new opportunities / alternatives for supply. Identify opportunities to develop, enhance or improve supply chain performance, where agreed implement proposed ideas. Purchase requests and scheduled deliveries/quotations/invoices. Supplier Contracts. Inspection Reports. Manage supplier portfolio identifying opportunities to harmonise supply / gain economies of scale from procurement. Manage supplier issues & critical matters.
