Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant Your new Company An established and modern accountancy practice based in Cheltenham are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team, this role has arisen just a period of sustained growth for the firm. Your new role In this Gloucestershire based accounts job you will be dealing with a wide range of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. You will be using Xero and Sage software and will handle purchase and sales ledgers, raising and entering invoices, bank reconciliation, VAT returns, process small monthly payrolls and will produce year-end accounts to the trial balance stage. You will be working with multiple currencies, bank accounts, departments and entities. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed it would be desirable if you had experience working in an accountancy practice previously, however bookkeeping experience is essential. It would desirable if you had experience on Sage, Xero or Sage payroll. You will need to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure you can build and maintain relationships with the firm's clients.
