Overview

Exciting opportunity to join our successful Rental department based in Fradley; this position is within our Team of Maintenance Controllers managing the safety inspections, defects and breakdowns for our fleet of over 1100 trucks and trailers throughout the UK. You will be responsible for controlling on-site defects, roadside breakdowns and ensuring all vehicles remain compliant in line with customers operators’ licenses maintenance schedules, through our own workshops and approved nationwide vendor partners In the role you will be responsible for monitoring progress, obtaining customer authorisations and arranging workloads along with challenging and authorising expenditure for all work carried out To succeed in this role applicants must be an excellent communicator, be a competent computer user and have the ability to work in a team. In addition, previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage.
