Overview
My client, a small and agile financial advisory firm that has built a great reputation in the market, is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Paraplanner. This company is rapidly expanding, it has a team of approximately 20 talented individuals working within its Hertfordshire offices. Its aim is to build and maintain long-term and trusted relationships with its clients to meet their financial objectives. You will be an integral part of the advice process, with the main purpose of the role being to provide technical Paraplanning support to the firm’s Financial Advisors. You will conduct compliant and detailed research on products and providers and produce supporting suitability reports. You will also complete portfolio reviews and be involved in replacement cases and fund switches. Other day to day duties will include dealing with client and provider queries, as well as maintaining relevant databases and ensuring records are accurate and up to date with client and portfolio details. It is essential that you are Level 4 Diploma qualified or at least working towards this and have previous experience of working in a Paraplanner role. You will be looking to progress in your career and build upon your existing high-level technical skills as well as fostering strong client relationships. It is important that you are passionate about being a Paraplanner and you enjoy working directly with clients as you process their cases and keep them updated. You will have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in both your written and numerical work.
