Overview
The EMEA region of a global manufacturing and distribution business is inviting applications for the position of Finance Manager to work closely with the EMEA Finance Director. Ideally suited to an ACA or ACCA trained individual with mid-tier audit experience, the role represents an excellent opportunity for someone with good technical accounting knowledge coupled with the ability to provide insightful analysis from complex data. The business is the leading player in a large international market with a reputation for innovation and efficiency. Its customer base is highly diverse and its market penetration extensive. We are looking for someone with good systems skills who has completed full audits, ideally with medium sized, international businesses. Duties of the role include: Preparation of the monthly Group consolidation and monthly financial report Ownership of the internal control systems and management of internal controls Management of the Balance Sheet Review process Investment modelling Lead the implementation of standard financial processes Fixed assets reconciliation and review Preparation of weekly cash reporting and cash balances Group consolidations Your profile should include: ACA or ACCA Qualified from a mid-tier or top 10 firm of Chartered Accountants Wide ranging systems skills, ideally including experience of Hyperion and advanced Excel skills A results orientated self-starter with high levels of energy and initiative An ability to think analytically and to provide expert, insightful narrative to complex issues Someone who fosters good interpersonal relationships across geographical territories Excellent communication and presentation skills A strong technical accounting ability An ability to influence at a senior level and make a meaningful impact The business offers unrivalled career development opportunities, a market beating benefits package and the opportunity to be directly involved in some fascinating initiatives around the world.
