Business Development Executive Environmental Consultancy £18,000 - £20,000 Benefits Truro, Cornwall Our client, a thriving UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, has an exciting opportunity available for a confident and driven Business Development Executive to join their friendly, close-knit team Due to a period of company expansion and increased workfow across the South West, our client now requires additional support to their Cornwall Branch, and are seeking a confident and driven Business Development Executive to provide essential administrative support to the organization's Technical Manager and Business Development Manager. As a Business Development Executive, you will be providing key support to the Business Development Manager and will be required to provide assistance in Sales Support and Office Administration. You will be required to assist the Business Development Manager in general business development activity which will include developing relationships, targeting new clients and identifying new sales opportunities, along with assisting the company with social media marketing campaigns. Alongside this, we are also looking for a minimum of 12 months administrative experience as you will also be required to schedule in work for surveyors, prepare survey reports, produce survey floorplans using specialist software and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate: Minimum of two years experience working as an Administrator Previous experience in sales or business development Confident in cold calling and dealing with clients over the phone Able to multi task and manage workload effectively Good knowledge of MS Office suite Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Able to work well independently and as part of a team Previous experience working within an asbestos consultancy is highly desirable, but not essential On offer is a competitive and negotiable basic salary along with the opportunity to grow and develop your career with a successful and progressive organisation.
