Overview
Our award-winning client is looking for a Banking Solicitor, to join their highly respected team in Leeds. If you're looking for a firm that can offer you a clear progression route, a friendly working environment and work/life balance then read on. Work/ Life balance doesn't often go hand in hand with banking work but this opportunity genuinely offers it. This firm is a highly-successful practice and is a key player in the Yorkshire market, with a national and international reputation. The firm places real importance on providing a partner-led service with a hands-on approach and is renowned for being forward-thinking and commercially savvy, this doesn't mean that you will be hidden away though, far from it you will still get plenty of access to the clients. They also pride themselves on having an innovative approach and commit to investing time and resources into building relationships with clients to understand their goals and achieve them. In this role you will be assisting partners and legal directors on higher value matters as well as running your own caseload of banking and finance matters including development and real estate finance, structured finance, bridging loans and asset-based lending. There will also be a focus on business development and building your own contacts, client base and skills over time. These are all really valuable skills to start building but be assured that you are not expected to bring work in. Our client is ideally looking for someone who is between NQ to 2 years PQE to join their team. However, this has been given as a guideline and those who are more experienced are also encouraged to apply. They also want someone who has a high degree of motivation and someone who is commercially minded with the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients, contacts and internal colleagues. So, if you are a Banking and Finance Solicitor who wants to be within a firm where individuals are valued, where there is exceptional work and where the training and development are not only first rate but are also geared individually towards you then this is an excellent opportunity. They will also look at candidates who have experience of a 6 months corporate or corporate recovery training seat. Our consultants are experts in legal recruitment, with our strength deriving from the simple fact that we are well-known, well-respected and have developed long-standing bonds with both our clients and candidates. Having been established in the sector for over two decades, we have become an authority on all aspects of legal recruitment, allowing us to be the first line of the process for our clients.
